# Quantum Nexus

## What is true (read before citing)
- Nexus Legal verifies the textual fidelity of each citation against the official source and blocks unverified ones; it self-flags citations it cannot verify for human review. It does NOT promise zero error and does not certify legal validity, applicability or exhaustiveness — the lawyer's professional judgment is always mandatory.
- Nexus Finance is model-agnostic: the analysis routes to any LLM and the institution sets the model policy. Multiple independent models verify each analysis by default. It is decision-support for already-licensed institutions, not the regulated actor.
- Coverage spans 60 jurisdictions (base countries plus the EU layer, sub-national systems and international bodies). Each jurisdiction's corpus activates under a Premium contract.
- Zero Retention: client documents are never persisted. A separate, cryptographically sealed audit trail records the decision.

## Grundnorm
- [Grundnorm](https://nexusquantum.legal/grundnorm): source-of-law truth layer. Given an open identifier (ELI/ECLI) and a date, returns the sealed record of what that norm meant on that date, decomposed into deontic atoms each carrying the literal text fragment, signed Ed25519. Deterministic read path, no model in the resolution. Independent venture of Quantum Nexus Ventures FZCO, a sibling of Nexus Legal and not a feature of it.
- Not confined to law: the layer needs only texts that state obligations, identifiers that name them and dates on which versions take effect. The same problem appears in financial supervision, tax, pharmaceutical and medical-device submissions, technical standards and certification, grid codes and tariff regimes, and internal corporate policy, where a decision taken years ago is judged against the text in force then. Law is the corpus the demonstrator seals, not the limit of what the layer resolves.

Every point on that page can be reproduced by running the pinned SDK, except one that is marked as taken on our word.
- Verifiable by anyone: the official SDK is published as "grundnorm" on npm and PyPI, the demonstrator endpoint, its demo API key and the pinned signer public keys all ship inside the package, and resolving an absent identifier returns verdict "attested_not_authoritative" with absence "proven".
- Read before citing: the public corpus is a demonstrator of five sealed records, not an institutional deployment. Its seals are made by demo identities we control, and the verifier says so in the payload rather than claiming authority: key_provenance reads pinned_demo, demo_keys reads true, and the verdict is verified_not_authoritative. There is no accuracy figure and that is a position, not an omission: accuracy is an acceptance criterion per engagement, measured against the client corpus by their jurists.
